ARBEC
Contributor Guidelines

Contributions from field researchers are highly valued by the editors. We thank all contributors who sent their their materials in the past, and we look forward to receiving material for future issues.

Writers are encouraged to use ARBEC as a forum to showcase their research efforts and for highlighting biodiversity issues of interest to fellow members in and around the Asia Pacific region.

We welcome articles on all aspects of biodiversity and conservation research in Malaysia and the surrounding region. If possible, articles should be accompanied by colour images, photographs, maps or other relevant visuals. Articles should be submitted on a computer diskette or via email. Email submissions may be sent to the Managing Editor at limster@pop.jaring.my.

In their own interest, authors should retain a complete copy of the manuscript and illustrations, identical in every respect to the material submitted. While every reasonable care is taken, ARBEC bears no responsibility for material which may be lost, whether in transit or during production.

Authors are also asked to be particularly careful that information submitted is accurate, as correctness is the responsibility of the author. No payments will be made for materials published in ARBEC; however contributors will receive five free hardcopies of the issue in which their article appears. Opinions expressed are those of the writer and not necessarily those of ARBEC.

ARBEC retains the copyright to articles published and reserves the right to offer them for reprint in other publications, printed or electronic, worldwide. Articles will not be offered except as they originally appeared in ARBEC, and all contributors will be given credit. ARBEC will not use any submitted materials in any other context without the express permission of the contributors. All pictures and graphic works are returned to the contributor after use.

ARBEC is subscribed by over 1,150 researchers and students worldwide.

All communications should be addressed to:
