Hawks and eagles. Medium to large diurnal birds of prey with powerful hooked bills, strong legs and sharp curved talons. Eagles soar while searching for food: hawks also do this, but more often hunt from perches on trees. Both make bulky nests of sticks high in trees or on cliff faces. |
