Head, antennae, prothorax and elytra fuscous with scattered greyish pubescence; behind upper eye lobe with 2 greyish spots of aggregated pubescence; side and latero-dorsal of prothorax with flavo-fumate pubescence; pronotum with greyish spots anterior of side of median; scutellum white; femora fuscous with reddish tinge on clavated portion; tibiae castaneous. Head slightly raised between
antennae, ridge concave; labrum bilobe at side; gena very short, base of mandible
almost touching anterior of eye; gula coarsely punctate; vertex with a glabrous
median stripe that bent at right angle posterior of neck, circumscribe the
white patch behind eye. Antenna 1.5
X as long as body in Measurement : Length 15.0 - 16.0 mm ( Distribution : Sarawak; Phillipines; Bouru; Dorey. Note : Aurivillius (1912) placed this species under the synonym of E. philippensis (NEWMAN) but Hudepohl (1990a) examined both type and concluded that they are distinctively 2 good species. Examnes philippensis has dense whitish pubescence on margin of disc while E. longicornis has spots of yellowish-white pubescence in the anterior of both side of middle, it also has the median smooth line and 2 whitish pubescent spots behind the eyes. Head, prothorax, base of elytra brownish-castaneous; antennae, legs including entire tibiae and apex of elytra bright castaneous; body sparsely with tawny bristles on elytra; undersurfaces very sparsely with greyish pubescence. Head convex in front; clypeus and gena obsolete;
frons very short, vertical; base of mandible and antennal condyle approximate,
only separate by several omatidia of lower eye lobe; vertex flat, not
pubescent. Antenna 1.5 X as long as
