Diagnostic characters : antennae support depressed, inner margin acute; antennae slightly longer than body in female, much longer in male; scape spined ectoapically; 3 - 4 antennal segments slightly thicken apically, 5 - 10 dentate at apex; prothorax narrower than elytra, base wider than apex; pronotum entirely corrugated; elytra gradually narrow posteriorly, truncate; femora almost parallel, compressed laterally.

Body fuscous, almost entirely covered with very dense luteous pubescence giving an overall milky-yellow color; mandible and almost entire head with dense hairy luteous pubescence; antennae black, scape with dense luteous pubescence; disc of prothorax with two laterad longitudinal luteous stripes, median and sides fuscous with sparse tawny pubescence; entire elytra with neatly arranged luteous pubescence, less so on side of humeral angle, totally absent on suteral and outer margin; undersurfaces with thick luteous pubescence with well-defined castaneous abdominal suture; legs fuscous with dense luteous pubescence.

Head narrower than prothorax; external margin of mandible parallel at basal half, gradually rounded towards apex, molar bidentate; labrum, posterior margin of subelliptical impression and a narrow median line bare; a short median groove between eye; antennae support prominent, inner side acute. Antenna a little longer than body in ; scape very pubescent, acutely angulated ectoapically; condyle calvus, punctulate; segment 3 & 4 slightly thicken at apex; 5 - 10 dentate ectoapically; last segment 1.5 X as long as segment 10 in . Prothorax narrow towards apical constriction; disc rugose, corrugation flexuose; disc with two broad laterad longitudinal stripes composed of densely-packed hairy pubescence; rugulae and sulci on middle and sides glabrous, sparsely pubescent; two transverse grooves at base; intercoxal process truncated and dilated posteriorly. Scutellum relatively less pubescent than elytra. Elytron elongated, 5.5 X as long as broad, gradually narrow posteriorly; pubescence on disc pointed externally, those on side of humeral angle pointed inwards converged at 1/5 from base; apex obliquely truncate at an obtuse angle; suture with a small spine. Legs : subequal; femora compressed laterally, sublinear; first hind tarsal segment as long as 1 + 2 united.

Measurement : Length 67.0 mm (elytron 47.3 mm); breadth 17.6 mm ().

Distribution : Eastern India; Sri Lanka; Peninsular Malaysia; Sarawak;

Known habitat : logged over primary mixed dipterocarp forest.
