Genus Zegriades Pascoe Zegriades Pascoe, 1869, Trans. Ent. Soc. Land., ser 3, 3 : 525 (type-species : Xoanodera magister Pasc., 1857). - Aurivillius, 1912, Coleopt. Diagnostic characters : head exserted; neck elongated behind eye; frons subvertical; upper eye lobe approximate, separated by a weak oblong depression; antennae very much longer than body in both sexes; scape with a cicatrix at apex, carinate dorsally; segment 3 very long, apex nodose, 3 X as long as scape; 4 & 5 dilated at apex; 6 - 11 slender, filiform, slightly compressed; prothorax 1.5 X as long as broad, transversely corrugate; elytra elongated, apex truncate; posterior end of fore intercoxal process truncate, vertical.

Head pitchy brown, entirely covered with tawny pubescence except a triangular glabrous patch on vertex extended from the median groove between upper eye lobe; antennae black; side of prothorax with 3 longitudinal stripes of fulvoluteous stripes; prosternum clothed with fulvo-luteous pubescence; elytra shinny fusco-castaneous with many oblong patches of luteous pubescence arranged in a longitudinal but interrupted manner; undersurfaces dark fuscous with dense luteous pubescence. Head exerted, oblique; mandible incised laterally;
frons with deep fovea side of middle joined by a weak A-shaped
sulcus; gula flat, slightly hollowed out in front and behind of a
transverse carina; raised between antennal insertion with a median
groove; neck constricted and elongated behind eye. Antenna
