Diagnostic characters : head weakly produced with a deep median sulcus between antennal insertion and upper eye lobe, narrower behind eye; frons laminiform, rough; terminal segment of maxillary and labial palpi truncate; eye large, prominent, upper lobe approximate; antennae little longer than body in both sexes; gula with a transverse groove that feebly curved at side, raised posteriorly with elevated area strongly punctate; antennal scape acutely thicken, apex of 3 - 5 nodose or slioghtly thicken, 7 - 10 angulate externally; prothorax longer than broad, side unarmed, disc deeply rugose; anterior of pronotum with a somewhat semicircular raised area, corrugation behind vigourously interrupted producing several protuding peak or tubercle; elytra coarsely punctate, apex rounded; fore coxal cavity closed; intercoxal process of mesothorax declivent. Head, prothorax and elytra fuscous with pale tawny pubescence; antennae fusco-castaneous especially apex of each segment; elytra and undersurfaces clothed with dense and even yellowish-luteous pubescence; legs same color as antennae. Head triangular with a constricted neck; frons with a
deep- sulcus below antennal support, surface uneven; eye
large, occupying almost entire lateral side; vertex with a deep
median groove passing from between antennae, upper eye lobe and

Head fuscous with dense tawny pubescence especially around ocular and frons; antennae fascous with sparse tawny pubescence, dense on scape, nodose apex castaneous; prothorax fuscous, tawny pubescence at side of middle; elytra, undersurfaces and legs evenly clothed with pale-luteous pubescence. Head highly raised between antennal insertion with a
wide median groove; a small carina inside the latter; frons short,
transverse with 2 deep foveae side of middle below antennal support.
Antenna longer than body in both sexes; scape gradually widen at
apex, very pubescent and punctate; segment 3 long, almost 2 X as
long as 4; apex of 3 & 4 subnodose; 5 distinctively longer than
