Key to species of Imbrius in Sarawak

1.    Apex of antennal segment 3 - 5 distinctively and strongly nodose; segment 3 short, at most subequal to 1 + 2 united; posterior of fore intercoxal process sloping, not tuberculate - ephebus PASCOE, 1866
Apex of anternnal segment 3 - 5 subnodose; segment 3 very long, longer
than 1 + 2 united; posterior of fore coxal process vertical, tuberculate. - acutipennis (FISHER), 1935

Head triangular with a constricted neck; frons with a deep- sulcus below antennal support, surface uneven; eye large, occupying almost entire lateral side; vertex with a deep median groove passing from between antennae, upper eye lobe and proceed to the neck. Antenna slightly longer than body in ; scape transverse, coarsely punctate and pubescent; segment 3- 5 nodose at apex in , less distinctive in , segment 3 of longer than 4 or 1 + 2 united, only about as long in ; 7 - 10 angulate extoapically, each segment subequal. Prothorax longer than broad; cylindrical; anterior of pronotum with a raised area, behind it transversely and deeply corrugated, sometimes interrupted producing several prominent acanthus. Elytron 5 X as long as broad; parallel; gradually narrow at 1/5 from apex and rounded; disc coarsely punctate, pubescent. Legs: femora fusiform with the base much narrower; 1 and 2 tarsal segments of each legs subequal in length.
