DIAGNOSIS : head planate in middle between antennal insertion and acutely inclinate at inner antennifer at sides; antennae shorter than both in both sexes; prothorax longer than broad, side not armed; elytra usually flatten dorsally, at least the sutural half, fore coxae globular, its cavity rounded, closed posteriorly; mid coxal cavity closed externally to epimeron; femora peduncle and clavate.
