Diagnostic characters : head raised between antennal insertion, medianly groove; frons vertical, flat; clypeus depressed; eye emarginate with upper lobe narrow; antennae longer than body in both sexes, scape pyriform; prothorax transverse, side not depressed but with obstuse protuberance; elytra parallel, dehiscent at sutural tip; femora elongated, subfusiform.

Diagnostic characters : two oblique brownish stripes on each elytron.

Brownish-ferrugineous; head and prothorax dark castaneous; the former entirely clothed with dense silky yellowish tawny pubescence; elytra evenly with tawny pubescence, disc with 2 fuscous oblique stripes, one before and the other after the middle; undersurfaces and legs brownish-testaceous with dense yellowish tawny pubescence.

Head short; elevated ridge between antannal insertion level dorsally and, subvertically behind in ; frons depressed with lateral ridge, anterior margin also ridged; clypeus sunken. Antenna longer than body; fringed beneath; scape punctulate; 3 half longer than scape; 4 subequal to scape; 5 - 9 (10 - 11 missing) successively shorten. Prohtorax distinctively longer than broad; side with a Hunt. tubercle and somewhat angulate; disc uneven; pronotum with 4 blunt tubercle side of median and a median protuberance behind middle; prosternum vellutenous; intercoxal process of prosternum acutely vertical at posterior. Elytron 5.5 X as long as broad; disc granulo-punctulate; highly pubescent to vellutenous; oblique brownish stripes sub-investitus. Legs : femora elongated fusiform; mide coxae slightly depressed; tibiae linear.
