: Head, prothorax, 2/3 basal half of elytra, anterior portion of fore coxae and posterior of mid intercoxal process carmine-red; elytra scattered with black dots; antennae black except basal half of scape which is red-brown; scutellum, tip of elytra, undersurfaces and legs black.

Head narrow, half as wide as prothorax; front very flat, slightly convex; mandibles curved, punctate with minute oblong punctures and several bristles; insicors circumscribe an oval space ending with two bifarious teeth; clypeus large, transverse, bare, anterior margin produced some distance over labrum; junction of gena and clypeus formed a ridge which joined with outer antennifer; gena quadrate, anterior margin sinuate, lower angle sharp and protruding; frons very flat and slightly convex with a median furrow, width and depth variable; striate-punctate, interstice with black pubescence; antennal support widely separated, depressed above and projecting; antennifer produced and prominent; eye small, finely facetted, acutely emarginated, lower lobe triangular. Antenna shorter than body, segment 4 barely or not extended beyond base of prothorax; scape punctulate with black pubescences in most punctures; remaining segments densely covered with fine black pubescence; 3 thickened apically, longer than scape; 4 - 10 broaden and angulated at apex, more acute exteriorly; ectoapical angle ends with several tough congregated spines; 11 toothed and spined subapically. Prothorax wider than long; raised dorsally; angulated laterally with a pointing tubercle; heavily and closely punctate or favose, forming reticular ridges; almost all dorsal punctures each with a black pubescence; pronotum somewhat flat with a short impunctuate median carina and two glossy but punctate laterad node. Scutellum triangular; rugulo-punctate. Elytron 3 X as long as broad; parallel and abruptly bent at apex; entire reddish part opaque, undose as if coarsely but feebly punctate; blackish tip densely covered with pubescence. Undersurfaces covered with dense whitish pubescence; abdominal sterna with transverse rows of bristles; mid intercoxal process with conical protuberance. Legs bare or very sparsely punctulate; femora fusiform-clavate; hind femora not extended beyond elytral apex, at most reaching it; ventral of fore and mid tibiae setose; hind femur with transverse rows of rigid spine on middle of upper side.

: Body overall reddish testaceous, elytra with scattered black dots (visible under magnification); antennae except scape, scutellum, mesoepisternum and metasternum black; apical tip of scutellum. flavid; femora red-brown; tibiae pitchy; tarsus black.

Head wider than prothorax; mandibles much lorger than , tubulose and curved; clypeus huge, transverse, protrusion at apex cover entire labrum, acutely dentate at side; junction with gena formed an excurved ridge; lower eye lobe shadowed by antennal support; frons feebly punctate. Antenna a little longer than body; subglabrous to punctulate; filiform; scape entire reddish testaceous; segment 4 prominently beyond base of prothorax; last segment tapering and fringe beneath. Prothorax slightly raised. Elytron margin abruptly bent, broadly rounded. Body not deep.

Measurement : Length 12.0 - 28.0 mm (); 12.0 - 22.0 mm ()
