Diagnostic : clypeus not produced over labrum; antennal insertion dorsal, approximate; prothorax broader than long, side acutely tuberculate; pronotum swollen, puncto-reticulate; scutellum. large, elongated triangular; elytra short, parallel-sided, apex broadly rounded; legs fusiform.

: Head large, narrower than prothorax; mandible obliquely bent from middle to apex, stongly produced dorsally into a stout ridge at base; labrum. 1/3 the width of clypeus, anterior bilobe at side; gena elongated or produced; antennae 2 X as long as body.

: Head small, narrower than prothorax; mandible small, triangular, feebly carinate at dorsal at base; gena short, antennae very much shorter than body.

: Head and prothorax brick-red; frons and clypeus with ferrugineous tomentum; antennae and scutellum black; elytra yellowish ochraceous with 1/3 apical half black; prosternum brick red, remainder of undersurfaces and legs black.


Head small, punctate, narrower than prothorax; gena long; clypeus transverse, tomentose, oblique with frons; the latter separated from clypeus by a transverse sulcus or furrow, not reaching side margin at both ends; vertex with a median carnia, sometimes extended to vertex. Antenna shorter than body, extended to 2/3 of elytra; scape subeylindrical, narrower at base, densely punctulate; segment 3 as long as scape; 5 - 10 complanate, carinate laterally and dentate ectoapically. Prothorax broader than long; side acutely tuberculate; base transversely depressed; apical margin inclinate; central of pronotum swollen with a short median glabrous carina and 2 protuberance at each side; disc heavily and coarsely puncto-reticulate. Elytron 3 X as long as broad; parallel-sided; broadly rounded at apex; disc nitid, densely punctate on yellowish portion; blackish apical portion tomentose. Undersurfaces : fore intercoxal process wide with a conical preapical tubercla and bicarinate at side of posterior end; mid intercoxal process strongly tuberculate perapically. Legs : femora fusiform nitid; 1/2 of hind femora extended beyond elytral apex.

Head larger, narrower than prothorax; mandible huge, greatly carinate and produced dorsally at base; clypeus depressed, trapezoid, glossy, punctulate; gena exserted, deep and broad; antennifer swollen. Antenna 2 X as long as body; scape elongated, cylindrical, subnitid, sparsely punctulate; remaining segments filiform. Prothorax anterior margin gradually slopping, not acutely inclinate as in . Elytron and Legs as in , femora stouter.
