Scope and Arrangement The bibliography is arranged as follows: BIBLIOGRAPHY AND GENERAL These two sections list bibliographies and listings on Borneo followed by general works on Borneo FOREST BIOLOGY Entries include works on plants, insect and animal biology and ecology, biogeography and biodiversity, forest composition and dynamics, wetland ecology, effects of logging, droughts and fires, etc. NON-TIMBER PRODUCTS Apart from non-timber products derived from the forest, other areas covered are; ethnobotany, phytochemistry, medicinal plants and germplasm. CONSERVATION MANAGEMENT This section lists material on species and habitat conservation, conservation education and strategies, sustainable rural development and ecological approaches to forestry management. Each section is further sub-divided by geographical area, viz., Borneo, Brunei, Kalimantan, Sabah and Sarawak. The bibliography concludes with a list of journals cited.
