Type
locality: BMNH 1946.8.18.82 (formerly BMNH 56.11.17.41) (holotype), "Hong
Kong" (22º 15’N; 114º 11’E; in eastern China).
Distribution:
Nicobar Islands of India, Thailand, the Malay Peninsula, Borneo, Java, Sulawesi,
possibly Sumatra, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, southern and eastern China, the
Philippines Archipelago (Manthey and Grossmann, 1997: 275; Welch et al., 1990:
83).
