RESULTS AND DISCUSSION

The 9 typically pigmented Actinomycetes were screened and isolated from total 180 different sites of Gulbarga region. Most of the isolates were confirmed that they belong to the genera of Streptomyces, as they showing good sporulation with compact, dry, powdery colonies with typically pigmentation.

DISCUSSION
The result of screening reveals that most of the pigmented microorganisms are probably of Actinomycetal group. All strains grow at 3 % of Nacl and all are them tolerate up to 7% of Nacl in media. They hydrolyses the 25-30% of casein and starch in a wide range of pH and they tolerate up to 42șC.And further standardization of bioprocess technology is under process to study the parameters for the production aspects of Amylase and Protease through solid-state fermentation from a cheap agro waste as a substrate.
